Louis Sparre (1863-1964) was a Swedish artist known for his landscapes, portraits, and watercolours. 

In 1881 Sparre moved to Paris to study at the Académie Julian. During his time in Paris, he was greatly influenced by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists, and his style became looser and more expressive.

In the 1890s, Sparre moved to Stockholm, where he established himself as a successful artist. He became known for his landscapes, which often featured dramatic skies and expressive brushstrokes.
