We are delighted to present a petite yet striking gouache on paper by the renowned Italian artist, Carlo Grubacs (1810-1870). Measuring a mere 8.4 x 12.3 cm, this artwork, despite its size, captures the vibrant essence of Venice in a way that few can.

The scene, believed to be of Punta della Dogana, offers a breathtaking view towards the Basilica di San Giorgio Maggiore.
