Lars Theodor Billing, born October 14, 1816, at Lundsgården in Skåne, died December 30, 1892 in Stockholm, was a Swedish landscape painter.
Billing was the son of Christoffer Billing and Anna Fredrika Schmidt, a cousin of Gottfrid Billing and from 1846 married to the singer Elma Ström.
Their daughter Anna Billing was also an artist.
He graduated from Lund in 1831. As an artist, he studied with the Norwegian landscape painter Jacob Mathias Calmeyer and during the 1850s made several study trips to Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and France. Works by Billing is represented at Nationalmuseum Stockholm, Drottningholm Castle, Gothenburg Art Museum, Norrköping Art Museum and the Härnösand Museum.
