Anna Sofia Palm de Rosa (1859-1924) was a Swedish artist renowned for her landscape paintings. Daughter of professor and Royal Court and Landscape painter Gustaf Wilhelm Palm, she was embedded in the arts from a young age, receiving private lessons from her father in her teens. Her home in Stockholm served as a hub for the city's artistic community, fostering her growth as an artist.
De Rosa became one of Sweden's most sought-after painters in the 1890s, renowned for her idyllic watercolors of Stockholm, the Bohuslän archipelago, and scenes from France and Italy.
